Round two saw Gambetta and Wickenham dicing it out for the lead until they tangled ha.nd1eban and both kBed the dirt giving the lead to Bakenfield Yamaha-sponsored Darin Oliver. Once Oliver took the lead, he started to put some space between himself and second place Brett Simonsen. Wickershim took second and Gambetta took third. The 250cc Pro race saw O'Neal Dilt. Suzuki rider Ken Zahrt taking home the overall with second going to Suzuki rider Brett Cross and third to S&S Kawuaki rider Jack Riggi, Jr. In the 125cc Pro race, it wu back-toback wins for Yamaha of Goleta rider Eddie Perry with second going to Yamaha of San Luis Obispo rider Jim Keese and third to Yamaha rider Tim Hobbs. In the U5cc Intermediate race, we saw Team Aero Industries Suzuki rider Robbie Q.uerpurth taking home the overall win with second going to Suzuki of Santa Barbara rider Eddie Guajardo and third going to Central Cout Cycle rider Frankie Towen. The 125cc Junior class had Yamaha of Goleta rider Dave Moore taking backto-back wins. Second place went to Can-Tram Concrete Suzuki-mounted Rob Hardy and third to Yamaha of San Luis Obispo's Ron Whitworth. The 250cc Intermediate race saw Phil's Racing Maico-mounted Tom Gin taking the overall with Kaw of Goleta's Bruce Carlisle in second and third going to Barnett Tool/Castrol Oil-sponsored Andy Richard. The Open Intermediate race went to Yamaha of Goleta's Randy Schwalenbarg with second going to Yamaha rider Anthony Jordan and third to KTM-mounted Terry Evans. Results 125 PRO: 1.
