BSA's Jim Ilice finished third, followed by Mark Brelaford (H·D) and Nick TheroUI (Tri). Yamaha·mounted Gary KapUi won the Junior feature. Sweden's Keith FraD.Zell (Hus) was the overall winner when the Inter-AMA Motocross Series held its second round at Denver, CO. Jan-Erik Salquist finished second on another Husky. Maico-mounted Jim Wicb finished third overall after winninK the last moto, and he recorded top American honon. Fourth overall, second American was Marty Tripes (Ric). Lan Laruon (Hus) repeated his first round win in the National class. Mike Patrick and Phil Bowers teamed up on a Yamaha g60 to win the Adelanto 200 off-road race. Second went to another g60 Yamaha, this one piloted by Gene Cannady and Tom Garner, with third going to the 400 Husky of Lee Hamby and Denby Dailey. Bill Oliver captured both the 125 and 250cc A class main events at a short track in Albany, Or. Ron Denny took the 200cc A class main, while Don Smith took the 100cc A class. Fint in the 250cc C main event went to Diane Cox.
