you any good unless you do one more
imponant thing: tum the bars in the
direction of the comer. You have to
steer it. Remember, it's a tricycle, not
a bike.
Steering was one of the hardest
things for me to remember. A hundred
times during the day, I'd have the
ATC all cocked over on two wheels,
dangling off the inside far enough to
tum Wes Cooley ~n with envy ...
traveling in a straight line! Motorcycli:sts
tend to forget that what won't lean,
won't tum. And tricycles won't lean.
Of course, the hardest part is learning to coordinate all three things at
once, plus adding the thumb-push
throttle control and the rear-wheelonly brakes.
It's worth it, though. With only a
little practice, three-wheeling can soon
become your third most favorite thing
to do. With a lot of practice, 'who
knows?
