Then both Harley Hall (Town and Countr y Suz) and Chris Swank (Donne '. Suzuki) dilplac ed Rodger s with Hall taking up the front pomtion. Rodge n re:took second place on the next lap whep Swank bobble d. and Warren Bell aanage d to move into third. The race remain ed. tight all the way in, but Hall took the win with Rodgers second ahead of Bell. Varney Holbro ok (Hon) and Swank. Round two had Bell jump into the lead. but he fell on the second lap and handed it to Swank. Swank manag ed to pull a Imall lead in the next three laps O¥er Rodgers. but then he threw it all away when he pulled off the track with bike trouble . He pulled back on IIeVeJ'a1 IeCOndi later• but back in fifth place. Rodgers Wal in control by that time. and he remain ed in front until the checke red flag came out. Holbro ok hung in there for a solid second ahead of Bell. Hall was on the DNF lilt 'for round two. Eric MacCra cken again took his Malcol m Smith Yamah a to the top of the 250cc Pro this time with much leA trouble than UlUal. Hil f1J'lt moto win Wal so euy that he decided to wait on the line while he gave everyone e1le in the second round a head Itan. The only rider who Wal able to hold off MacCr acken for more than a few second l Wal John Manac ane (Kaw). But in a few laps the race Wal aU O¥er with MacCr acken in front to Itay. Mazzac ane did a good job of Itaying with the 'Yamah a rider for mOlt of the race. but in the end he Wal a diltant second ahead of Roger HeDI1ey (Suz). The two biget races of the night were the 125cc Beginn er divilioDi. Divilion one Wal taken by Billy Oldham (Kaw) after Iplittin g winI with Jason ACOIta (Kaw). The firK round went Iilte clockwork for ACOIta. who led every lap. But Mike Medlin (Suz) held the Reond moto lead for four laps before AcOita could find a way into the lead. Then ACOIta went down and the top .pot went to Oldham . Overall. it Wal Oldham . Scott McKey and Tom Brown.
