~~~~~~~~~~~~Wl~1 The top 18 riders in the world took off the line in the first 80cc contest. Troy Blake was favored by many to win and he sure did as Todd Campbell and Sam Storer raced from behind. In the second race Campbell got the holeshot but then fell on the finish comer. Storer and Blake went at it from there on. In the final race Campbell was determined to win and he led it till Blake made the pass. So Blake, from Laveen, AZ became the new "Champion of Champions." Besides a monster trophy he got to keep one of the new machines. The Junior Cycle competition was just as stiff. In the first moto Scott Brown shot out ahead of Mouse McCoy and Ronnie Tichenor. In the fmal race, Brown had a hard time staying up 'and fell a couple of times which made it easier for McCoy to stay out front and take the lead and overall win over Tichenor, Shawn Wooten and Kyle Lewis.
