r
a series of blind comers. Best to cool it
on the comers, b«ause there is twoway traffic and in places it's a 40 foot
drop to the bottom. MP '/.7.7 is the last
crossing of Mission Creek. We stopped
to drink the cold, clean water and fill
our canteens. From here the trail gets
steeper and climbs through an open
pine forest
with
really super
switchbacks. It's beautiful up here in
the fall. Leaves are red and gold, the
temperature perfect and when we
speed up the wonderful pungent smell
of autumn rushes at us ... something no
mere fOrse people sometimes use this
area so watch for them. A lot of the
horsey folks have really supported the
ORV trail program. If you meet horses
get off the trail on the downhill side,
shut off your engine and let em go by.
It's your National Forest, and your
ORV bucks building the trails...explore
and enjoy.
