McCluskey crashed, letting Arnold, Mueller and David King (Auto Ind. Dist. Yam) take over the top three. King passed Mueller near the end of the moto to make the fmish Arnold, King and Mueller, Moto two saw Mike Goodrich (R&D Suz) take the lead followed by Mueller· and King. Mueller passed Goodrich over the downhill jump while King passed Goodrich in the S·turn. Arnold passed Goodrich on the double jumps, only to fall on the last lap and let Goodrich get by at the end. Overall it was Mueller, King and Arnold. The first 250cc Pro moto saw Kawasaki Korral·sponsored Kenny Schlosser pull the holeshot followed by Mike Garratt (Team B&R Yam) and Rick Watmore (United Cycle Supply Yam). Garratt and Watmore passed Schlosser, with Brett Hanna (Track & Travel West Mai) moving up to third. The moto ended in that order. Moto two saw Carlos Serrano (East· side Cycles Mai) jump to the head of the pack in front of Mike Rehm (East· side Cycles Yam) and Jim George (Team B&R Suz). Rehm missed a corner, letting George and Garratt get past. Garratt passed George by the tower and went after Serrano, and Hanna passed George for third. Serrano took first with Garratt and Hanna trail· ing. Overall it was Garratt, Hanna and Watmore. In the 250cc Novice race Michael Felix (Mai) earned first with Court Guerrin (Aztec Air Conditioning Co. Yam) taking second. The biggest races were the 125cc Beginner and Novice classes. Mike Lafferty (D&F Racing Yam) topped the Novice class over Jim Seeger (Yam). David Everson (Yam) was the first Be· ginner, with Chris Goodwill taking second on a Suzuki.
