The Open Pro class saw Don Griewe power his way to the win on a 490 Maico. He took every lap of the fmt moto, but tben got a poor start in round two. He spent much of the race trying to catch up, but fmally passed Troy Manning (Yam) for the lead. DeAnza's Pee Wee races on the special track have proven fairly popular, but now some of the faster of the pint sized stars are wanting to race on the regular track used for the big bikes. So promoter Ed Michetti has opened the Junior Cycle class so the youngsters on the 50s and 60s can do just that. Allan Brehm topped both motos of the Junior Cycles this time on his Yamaha 60.
