Manning finished second for second overall while Bookhan took third place cash with two founhs. Johnson had it a little easier in the 250cc class where he only had to worry about Pete Snoneland (Yam). But Snoneland did make him run for his money in both motos, coming especially close in round two after Johnson lost his rear brake. Snoneland was still second across the line, followed, after a shon wait, by Keith Dysen (Kaw) and Danny Sanchez (C-A). 00 0') Results PEE WEE: ,. Wesley Klein IYaml: 2. Kimberly Robertson ISUll. In the first 125cc molO Dale's Modern Cycle's Scott Manning (Yam) shot inlO the lead witiJ Cun McCuistion (Kaw) and Johnson close behind. The three of them instantly pulled away from the pack in a three way duel. Manning held on to the lead until he twisted his foot, giving McCuistion the chance he needed to get on top. Johnson closed on Manning, and then as Manning's pace came back they both caught back up to McCuistion. They were in such close formation that on the 12th lap when McCuistion missed a shift it caused both Manning and Johnson to go down. Johnson,_who never actually hit the ground, was the first 10 get his stalled motor running again and he took off, leaving Manning with third place. On the very next lap McCuistion's race came to an end in the same turn as the linkage on his Uni-Trak came unbolted. He pushed his bike back to the pits while Johnson took the lead and Manning moved into second, Finishing a distant third was Randy Yetto (SUl) over Danny Bookhan (Yam) and Clarke Coleman (Yam). Manning again pulled a holeshot in round two and this time he was able to stretch it out while McCuistion and Johnson moved through traffic. By the second lap, however, they were again running 1-2-3 with the Kawasaki sandwiched by the two Yams. Johnson passed McCuistion on the sixth la p and ~ staned to close in on Manning.
