With neither rider having a Pro win to his credit, it was go-for-broke time and jones stayed .ri~ht side up all night and grabbed the Win, The 250cc Pros were small in numbers but wild in action as Kirk Grissom (Hon) continued his comeback effort with a two for two go for a close win as Dan Watson (Yam) grabbed a wild, come-from-behind tiebreaker second over Rich Grafton (Hon). , While most of the junior and Intermediate Coke Series point leaders were either winning or having comfortable point leads, the battles for runner-up sFots were literally changing positions each lap. The 125cc juniors were the big show with Town and Country Kawasaki rider David Crowson gaining four points on teammate Rodolfo Sevilla in the battle for second spot as Coke point leader Mike Kincheloe sandwiched in for a second spot. A likewise tight battle is going on for the fourth and fifth spots with Scott Bowman, Scott Allen and jim Klocksieben only separated by 28 ,points. In the Mini juniors another huge field was on hand to bat,tle for the Coke gold and when the smoke had settled, Mike Gilmartin had himself another two for two victory over Eric Dickerhoff and Tim Schoos. Both Dickerhoff and Schoos had comefrom-behind efforts in the second moto for the place and show spots. The ATCs were out in copious quantities and in the very competitive 90- Il2cc Modifieds, Smitty's ATC rider Tom Gaian reversed the previous week's finish by going two for two over Danny's Machine Works rider Tim Hoy. Big AI's ace Davis "The Flying Dutchman" Mueller blasted Bob Gilliam and ATC Products' Steve Wright i,n the Il3-132cc Modifieds. So.,..... Call.o••I.·A.lzo......, .....
