One of these riders is Devon Farley, currently one of the hottest 250cc Intermediate racers at Ascot Park. Just a few weeks ago Devon ate it again and ended up with a big and hefty cast. Tonight he was back into the line· up and uFt all of his competitors by taking the over· o all win. I RickJohnson, who just moved out of the 250cc Junior class, proved himself against the Intermediates and smoked 1 everyone in th~ first moto while Dave 1 Harris and Steve Gilbert were second and third. Farley was back in the fifth place spot and it didn't look too possible for hi":l to be ab.le to capture a first overall wm. But in the second 1:>10 moto Farley got out in front of them o with a spectacular holeshot. The riders who did so well in the first moto faded this time with the exception of Gilbert who managed third again behind Ron 01Rn. A 5-1 score gave Farley a win abead of OIRn, Gilbert and Hania. ,t No brag. Fact. 'The Best Go West' T-shirts say it all.
