Ace Williams. Todd Peterson lost out to Rex Staten at OCIR. .- gave the lead to Rex and Peterson dropped back to fifth place. Soon Todd advanced on the lead ers and fmally got Greg Zitterfopf of Track 'N Travel Maico. So it was Staten and Peterson in the top two. In the final mota Dave Behlings shot out front and got a super stan. By the time they completed one lap Rex was in fIrst ahead of Peterson and Behlings, Those three went through the checkered flag that way. Overall in the 250 Pro class it was Staten, Peterson, David Bchlings and Gary Jones. It's been a long time since the days when Barbara Spielman raced at OCIR. Tonight she returned as a hot 250cc Intermediate on a Suz"uki, frustrating a lot of guys because she was so fast. In the first mota Bret Hester was out ahead and in control for a number of laps till ace Wayne Reid made the pass . Spielman took a fmethird . In the second mota Reid was the man all the way while Joe Seals was second in front of Jim Bechers. Barbara d id all right till she hit the big jump and nearly went over the bars.
