A friend, contacted at Sheena's home in England, reports that "other than losing the finger, Barry is OK." Acting on behalf of the members of the American Federation of Motorcyclists' Los Angeles chapter, Lee Fleming of Champion Motorcycles presented trophies of appreciation to AFM President Harry Bresach and AFM Secretary Rem Juliussen. " Every year these two guys run the six-hour race and take an incredible amount of flak during protests after the race . Running such a big race is a big job, and we thought it was time that somebody gave them recognition for a job well done.
