DEALERS! DEALERS! You are cordially invited to join the elite Husqvarna dealer network and to represent the most exciting line of competition motorcycles. By Tom Corley IRVINE, CA , MAY 15 The crowd has been pretty heavy lately at OCIR and more people ' all the time are showing up to discover the excitement of this every Thursday night motocross race . There was a very fast Mini Intermediate class that started things off tonight . Paul Denis led his event with no sweat while Chris Sparks proved to be the second fastest rider on his Kawasaki . Lightning T ony Linehan held off Scott Bums for third and fourth . At the same tim e th at the Mini riders were on the track so was a special l00cc class race. Usually no lOOcc rid ers show up at all but this time there were four contestants so they had their own class Ed Bravo sigoed up for th e 100cc class and ended up taking two first place wins which gave him th e trophy over Brian Doldge, Mike Medun and Dan Brubeck, Bravo proved that an old Honda can still get around the track and even take a win. "Gassin' " Andy Guth, as his friends call him , snuffed everybody in the 250cc Pro class. If he isn't getting any help from any sponsors he should bel Guth ' did receive some good competition from Matt Devich who , like Andy, rides a Kawasaki. Devich edged out Guth in the first moto while Matt Nelson took third. Things reversed in the second moto though and this time Guth took over the first place win . They collided as they went into the first turn but did not go down. David Behlines on a Yamaha ended up coming closest to Guth in this final moto because Devich found the going to be a little rougher. Once Matt went through the flags and off the track after he lost control while coming off the Supercross style jumps. Overall it was Guth , Devich, Behlines and Matt Nelson. CR .. . .
