Blackie started ou t with th e . power in m oto two but after lap two it was "Movin' Marv" who dominated the action. It was Marv with first place and Blackie taking second. In the Expert category, Ch uck Nation looked like everything was going for him. He took th e holeshot and was ou t there in the lead for five la ps. However , on the last lap , Tom Widick made his winning mov e and took the first place. This put Nation in second place followed by Bob Millner. In the second moto, Milln er took an early command of things and did some great riding a nd came in with a very im pressive first place. Widick had the mis fortune of stalling his bike after coming together with another rider and thus got a la te start with the action. However , this on ly momentarily stalled his act , and he was soon back in full force to claim second place. Nation was in the re with a third place win. Am a teu r J erry Scott was fas test man ou t and led for fou r laps. O n la p five his lead was take n by Hal Grady who th en la tched int o t he big win . Scott took secon d . Asker La mkjaer was th e th ird place winner, and followin g Asker was Larry Sm ith . The second moto was won by La m kjaer who just zeroed in on the action and kept going a t a constant high speed. Second place was won by Scott, and th ird place honors went to Sm it h. Hal Gra dy was fourth.
