Dean Wiggins, riding an Open-class
Maico, pulled way ahead of everyone
else in both motos to sweep the win in
the Expert race and Larry Dashiell, on
a 250cc Maico, did the same for
second each time out. Behind them
the addition of the Open Juniors provided for some interesting competition.
Ron Sturgeon was first overall Junior
followed by David Carlson, both of
them finished ahead of several Experts.
In the Open Novice races John
Brown was the consistent first-place
winner. Second, third and fourth were
traded between David Allen, David
Walden, Scott Merrow and Daniel
Sturgeon. Walden and Allen came up
the second and third overall winners.
