the Beginner victory over Mike Sanchez and Hank Williamserler, the Novice overall was taken by Herman Loaiza as John Julander and Jimmy Heiberger trailed, Intermediates saw Doug Gentry win it over Ray Tethenon and Chris McCauley, and in the Experts Todd Broussard picked up the win ahead of Rick Ryan and Brian Dupree. Even the CRC Veterans were given a shot at the stadium. and in the Junior ranks, Jim Mcintyre's l-g score was good enough for the overall win ahead of Dan Shannon's 6-1 and Mike Gahan's pair of founhs. For the Veteran Intermediates. H.S. Bernard and Ron Ryer traded moto wins, and Bernard took the overall ahead of Ryer, Jim Ricci, Ron Tuzinski and Jim Turner. Maicomounted Dan Moore was the main man to beat in the Senior division, as Moore put the roost to the class both motos and won easily over DMG's Bob Hayes and Dudley Dunan. William Miller and Rick Watson followed. Four Divisions of 125 Beginners had to be run to cut the number of riders down to 16 for the evening's final. In Division one, Pat Patterson took the win ahead of Doug HoWs and Craig Cable, while division two was taken by Steve Colley, Craig Furman and Mark Day. Third Division honors went to Andy Kaplan ahead of Vic Lohr and Frank Concepcion, and in the final division, Perry Hildebrand took the win over Ken Kopecky and James Fulehumi. Craig Cable came out on top of the final, as he defeated Brian Calderon, Chuck Forman, Vic Lohr and Conrad Testerman. Four more divisions were run to get the one-two-five Novices down into a racing number. In those divisions it Pat Webber defeating Mike _ Osenbaugh and D.J. Houghlen in the first, Fred DeVries over C.J. Wenner and Mike Schriefer in the second. Jon Zahn over Chris Scott and Joseph West in the thrid, and in the final division, John McDougal beat Jon Faure and Troy Wilcox. Matt Saruwatari, who took a founh in his qualifier, came out on top of the fiqal, as he defeated Chris Chapman, Mike Schriefer, DJ. Houghlen and Troy Wilcox. As in the Beginners and Novices, the 125cc Intermediajes went down to four divisions before their fmal. In division one, Rick Jackson led Matt Whiting and Steve Postelwaite across the line, while in the second division Ray Tetherton defeated Richard Sands and John Ortner. Division three went to Erik Kehoe, over Randy Denton and John Oliva, while the final division was taken by Randy Ross, over Dirt Bike Magazine's Johnny Rudder and Rick Cecrle. In the final, Erik Kehoe went all the way for the win ahead of Rick Jackson, Vince Pobland, John Gardner and Paul Cano. All three of the 250cc classes went into four divisions before their fmals, and in the first round. the 250cc Beginners were put to the test. In division one, Ruben Torres took the win over Jeff Bouchillon and Dave Whattley, while the second went to Richard Hendrickson ahead of Rodger Williams and James Carstairs. In the third round, Michael Ward was the. winner over Marco Galluzzi and Mike Sieve, while in the fourth, Dan Caneva took the win over Phil Miller and Warren Posey. In the final, Ruben Torres led the way, followed by Marco Galluzzi, Briggs Kantner, Mike Sieve and Steve Sanford. Steve Corncan led off the first division of 250cc Novices with a win ahead of John Holthaus and Greg Hidlebaugh, as Alan Skiles defeated the second division trailers Beaver Ellis and Dean Mastroluca. Bob Schroeder, Dan McNulty and Mark Black were tops in diwion three, while the founh went to Vincent DiPiazza, Rod Drury and Richard Mannschreck. In the final, Jim Brodie was the winner ahead of John McCarley, Dean Mastroluca, Paul Bebek and Beaver Ellis. Intermediates saw Jim Coffey jump out to the division one victory followed by Mark Amendola and Tom Hodgin, as the second division went to Todd Clark with Bob Wosick and Ty Cline behind. Division three honors were swept up by Troy Manning ahead of Jay VanCamp and Walt Olson, and Don Fredrickson picked up the wn in the final division with Robot Rodgers and Ed Abella behind. In their final, Jim Coffey held on for the victory as Mark Amendola, Ty Cline, Troy Manning and Jim Williams rounded out the top five. In the Open Beginners, only one division was run, and in those two motos, Din Bike Magazine's Brian George took both victories and the overall, ahead of David Pintar, Darby Riley, Michael Gatzon and Jeff Leckich. Three divisions of Open Novices saw Tim Hethcox win the first over Mickey Dymond and Robert Sullivan, while Rocky Caswell and John Blakeney led Dan Martens across the line in the' second. Division three had Steve VanZant with the win, and Joseph West and Norman Francis behind. In the final, Joseph West picked up the win ahead of Sullivan, Tim Hethcox, Jeff Hares and Mickey Dymond. The Open Intermediates went into two divisions, and Bob Schulz won the first over Rusty Baron and Fulton Tidwell. In division two, Don Glover led the way ahead of Glenn Glass and Roben Casper.
