charge only a slig~r inconvenience to
Dale instead of a major threat.

. Dale was on top right from the stan
of the first race with Rick Rodgers

the first moto. Lizard Lou wrestled his
new Can-Am past Flaky Frank to take
second.
In the second Amateur moto, Jinx
Jerry, just having moved up from the
Intermediate class, .took the lead
temporarily until veteran Amateur
c1asser Jester Jerry breezed by him at
the end of the first lap. Soon, Lizard
Lou moved out front and nearly sewed
it up. But in the last lap,' Run-Over
Ron go' him. Dippy Del came in on
Lou's back tire.
