Mlchletach and Van Epps have It their way at Mu.ey By Action Oz McMINNVILLE, OR, JUNE 5 With a few more service stations open on the weekend, rider turnout was excellent and the competition, as usual, was frantic. The 125cc Pro clus was full of the top names. Dave Van Epps looked around and said, "no reason this can't be my day" and left. With a third place shot off the line, he just took his time, rode his Suzuki around die course, and built up the crowd for a big surprise. More about that later. Darryl Zumstein, Woodland Honda, had the lead and was smoking the pack. He had his way for .10 laps. More about that later. Chris Seines, Moto-X-Fox, just back from a bout with "pneumonia," was out there and looking good. But the old "bod" just was not ready yet and he succumbed to iu weakening factors. Joe Spangler, .Eugene Suzuki, was in contention most of. the early running but got passed from third at one point to finish fifth at moto's end.
