Saddleback Park every IICCOnd and
fourth Sunday of the month.
There were a lot of really fine racers
here but the main supentar had to be
Tim Tolar. Tolar really decided to go
for it and he did just that as he WOD
both the 125 and 250cc Pro c1asIea.
Tim won each moto for a clean sweep.
About 18 bikes crammed the starling gate in the 250cc Pro c1aA and the
competition was stiff. Tolar was just a
bit faster than the rest of the bunch
and he has this track wired. He
captured the first moto win because or
this and was being pursued by Matt
Devich and Dave Douglas while Jolm
Gonzales landed fourth. Tolar had an
identical performance in the IIeCOI1d
moto and this time Jerry Raymer
(Yam) out maneuvered Devich for the
second place spot and once again
Gonzales headed off the other
competitors. Overall for the day Tolar
hooked two firsts for the gold over
Devich, Gonzales, Raymer and
Douglas.

you can expect to see some very fast
Pros go at it in two 4O-minute ba ttles.
Today the hottest Pro class was to be
the 250cc Pro and there were 14 fast
hands involved .
Norstar-sponsored Goat Breker
shoved the crew around and-ended up
winning a good cash prize for his
overall victory.
Dave Miller was after the loot and
he gave Breker a good dice for his
money. Miller happens to be
sponsored by John Miller of UFO
Products. In the first moto Miller
swooped out ahead on his Honda and
was easy to identify by his elaborate
racing threads . Breker's Husky
cranked after him but couldn't/ass so
he had to settle for secon . J im
Tarantino on a Suzuki trailed in third
while Val Tamietti (Mai) captured
fourth .
The second grueling moto got
underway and it was still a toss up
between Breker and Miller. Breker
won this final 'moto and th is gave him
a 2-1 fina l score and th e overall
dollars . Dave Miller took secon d and
Mark Lawrence ended up third over
Val Tamietti andJeffLysdale.
