Charlie Hamill took com m a nd of the lead stretching it in to a 100-yard cushion. Lap a fter lap it stayed the same but this you ng man on a new Suzuki started making his move at the mark , Steve Wiseman. The last three laps, Steve was a b ikelength behind Charlie . The checkered unfurled and the crowd went wild as Wiseman dove under Hamill in every turn . his fro m tire on Charlie's footpeg . Hamill won.
