but had everything dialed in and won
both motosl His competition came
heavy from Ray Mesa. who ran a
consistent second.
The Open Junior was a good race,
but there was one guy who should be
moving to Expert soon , and that is
Mark Lane riding a Maico for Cycle
City in Walnut Creek. Mark has been
completely dominating the Junior
class. Second place went to Duane
Hughes, who has been chasing Mark
for the past three weeks.
Mini biker Art Klingberg came back
to Sand Hill and won the Trophy Dash
as well as both motos in the 80cc
Novice division . David Parkening gave
chase in both motos, but·had trouble
and crashed hard with his front brake
sticlting. Billy Cross, another new
rider. took second.
