Included in its recommendations are a continuous source of funding for development of recreational trails in the Golden State, and the power of eminent domain to be used as a last resort in acquiring land for trails. The summary presents the results of a study by the Parks and Recreation Department, which conducted public hearings last year; and will be presented to the Legislature for review.
