The Novice "B" division riders were
scored sepa ra tely from the "A" division,
as we watched 'Gitty·Up Gary (North)
lead the parade to the checkered in
both motos.
Forty-two Intermediates also had to
be divided into two divisions . Cute
Connie (Mai) took home the gold for
Division "A". Second place went to a
Vegas rider by the name of Majestic
Mojeske (is that Italian??) and a 2·3
ride gave Trash Terry (North) a secure
third.
Division " B" Intermediates saw
Buffalo Bill (North) take his Maico to
an overall victory. followed closely by
the North's Hang-On Harold (no
relation to the Novice's Hang-On
Harold).
Race eight saw 18 throttle happy
Amateurs leave the gate with just
about anyone of them a potential
overall winner. Jumbo Jim (North) left
no doubt as he put together a pair of
back to back wins for first overall .

Kirk
finished with a 3-3 series for second,
followed closely by Du m p in Dan
(Vegas) who walked home with thiro
place.
Talk about fastll W hat a group we
had from our Exvert class. Ru n ny Ron
Gibson made It look easy as he
smoothed out the whoops on the sandy
two-mile course, chalking up
consecutive wins for an undisputed
first overall.
Lanky Larry got · bogged down in
traffic in the first race, but wasn 't far
behind in the second moto . La rry
settled for a secure second for the day.
Dicing with Larry was Putt Putt Pete
(North) , but he could d o no better
than 3-3 for third overall .
