Bria n Mode a nd Rex Haskett, two of the fas test 100 cc Kids riders in Southern Oregon , had all eyes on t l:em before th eir ra cing was over. Haskett got a first mota ho leshot tha t a lmos t blew Mod e off th e track. Mod e closed fast . but H askett shut the door at th e Oak Tree berm . Mode kept on H askett's rear kn obby fo r four laps , goi ng high a nd low and finall y went under H askett o n th e big ba ck berm. Haskett in creased his lead by several seco nds befo re losin g a chai n and precious tim e until he got it back on. Sunday's third mota was a repeat pe rfo rm a nce wh ich Mod e won .
