Visitor Eddie Glover (Suz) gave Burn wort h some competition in both of t he Mini classes but Burnworth led every la p of every moto. T he !05cc Mini class featured a career first win by young Danny Jones (Yam) and fireworks in the form of a second moto tangle betwee n Eddie G lover and Ro b b ie Nolin and the subsequent disq ualification of two o ther riders for racing through the yellow flag area and o ne other rider stopping and being un a ble' to restart! The Int erm ed ia te classes produced fine closely ru n races in all classes with the best show coming in the 12-16 yea r rider age Stock Mini class with Scott Swift (Suz) taking a tie-breaker seco nd mota win over Scott Brow n (Suz) . Bo th motos were, hot ly contested with the outcome in do ubt right to the checkered flag . Swift came back to take another win in the Modified Mini class over returni ng rider Ra ndy Hansen a nd new I ntermediate Terry Murray . Visitor Pa ul Denis (Yam) had a fine day with wins in the 9·11 Modified Mini Intermediate class a nd a second be hind N ational J unior Mini champ Ronnie Lechien in the Stock class . T he outstanding ride of the day in the No vice d ivisions came in the 9·11 Novice Stock class as eight-year-old Sean Frampton put toge t he r two seconds in the IS-ria er field to edge Brad Johnson after first m o ta winner Danny Ray was sidelined with a second mota crash and second m o ta winne r Tim H ea th ha d a d ista nt ninth in the firs t mota.
