Paschal jumped out on - top in th e seco nd mot a with Skies in second a nd Anderson third . Anderson went to work a nd onthe white flag lap pulled out all the stops a nd wh en th ey came around for the che ckered it was Anderso n home firs t with Paschal second a nd Skies t hird . Ed d ie Cole , mounted on a new Can-Am , was moving up fast on Savitski who was firm ly entrenched in th ird . Battlin g with J a nnings. Sa vitski made h is mo ve in mid -flight over Ca n Am Hi ll a nd set out for Gi llman . Goat Breker , separating himself from th e rest of the pack , was co m ing on st rong, looking for a re peat perfo rmance of las t Su nday's victory. Firs t wheel to wheel wit h J a nn ings, Breker mov ed on into second . Meanwhile Gillman was burni ng up the track, lap pin g rid ers rig ht and left. In the fina l moments of the last la p , Gillman's bike broke down and th e lead he'd held throughout th e mot a went to Savitski . Breker fin ished a strong second with J annings guarding th e third slot. The second tim e off th e line Savtiski and Jann ings .held th eir own drag ra ce forthe lead . Sav itski took th e ed ge a nd Steve Rawson sett led into third. Som e heavy d icing went down be tween Cole a nd Dea n Taylor for fourth . When t he winning checkered flag ca me out Sav itski was th ere for the overall victory. Jannings took second overall and third wen t to Raw son. J ohn Savitski (Ya m) returned to the 250cc Pros after back to back mota wins in the 500cc class a nd too k home the win ning share of t he $1 .000 purse.
