Traditionally, the 125 J unior crown was a cliff-hanger as Steve Galea had a two po int lead over Sco tt Meyer going into the fin al round . Meyer scored a co nvi ncing t wo m ota swee p wh ile . Galea co ul d do no better tha n fou rth , a nd Alla n Fox almost nipped Galea .for second p lac e-points with a run ner up finish . T his is ~ t he second championsh ip for 15-year-old Meyer. He was t he Mini Champ in 1975.
