The sun wasn 't the only thing cooking as Ron Turner returned from battling with the national st ars to engage the local pros in th e 125 Pro class. Mike Brown blitzed out to an early moto lead only to DN F the second m ot o a nd eliminate any chance his first- mote third would have given him for an overall placing. Turner had his work cut ou t for h im though as he fended off repeated cha rges fr om the ever-closing Tim Lunde. Lu nd e would work his way up to Turner ' knocking a t the door onl y to have T urner shu t it on hi m every time. T urner held the door shut to take the win with Lund e a close second and Ku rt Sofk a battling his way u p to third.
