The before they came out of the first hairpin. Bobby Headworth (S & H Racing) was at Duma's back door trying his best to get by , but Duma repeatedly shut him off. Walter Armendariz appeared at Headwonh's side as they came out of the ess tum to gether, but Headwonh pulled in front to finish third. Josh Price worked his way up to finish founh after a slow stan. In mota two , Eckess was out in front and built a fantastic lead for a safe win . Armendariz was in second being pressured by Duma, but was under full control, holding his position to the finish. " By Elaine Jones CORONA , CA ,JUNE3 Regular Corona winners Goat Breker and Marty Miller took a night off and i t was a chance to get a look at some of the other riders . Breker's bike was in for a major overaul after having been raced five separate races over t he long Memorial Day weekend . It was teammate Keith Fearing who looked to take over the honors in the 500 Pro class. Fearing got off on top in the first mota and led it for five laps before his bike went sour and Carl Gieselman came up with the first with Kelly Callaway third. The second mota again saw Fearing off first with Gieselman second and Callaway third. On lap four, Gieselman got into trouble and Callaway not only took him but Fearing as well which put him into the number one spot. It was Callaway'S show from there on out with Fearing hanging on to second. The overall went to Callaway with Gieselman second and Fearing third. Steve Bauer had to be the hard luck rider of the night. In the 125 Pro class he was really flying , having built up' a whopping lead when three laps from the end he threw his chain. Marty Wolford, who had been close at the stan, took over to claim the win . Doug Lincoln was second and Scott Sheedy third. Sheed y got the holeshot in the second mota with Wolford in the bridesmaid spot again and Lincoln in third. Chris Dooley put the move on Lincoln on the second lap and put himself within striking distance of the front runners . On lap four Wolford caught Sheedy in a mistake and went into first . From there on out it was all Wolford's , including the overall . Sheedy was second and Lincoln third . The 125 Intermediates put on a good show . Joe Price led the-first mota from wire to wire, taking to the small 125cc bike with mu ch more confidence than his Open machine. Keith Williamson was second and Tim Harris third. In the second mota it was again Price off on top. This time Williamson was a lot closer and really pu t the pressure on . The longer rnotos told the story as Price just wasn 't able to keep up the pace and on the white flag lap Williamson got him . With the win in the final mota. Williamson took the overall with Price second and Harris third. • Results in Results Section.
