T ami had a bit of trouble with the rear end was hi ng out in one of the turns and he dumped t he bike and was passed by Colli ns. Gill m a n and Ma ri no had quite a dice going back in the fifth and sixth positions with Gillman coming out ahea d and the n preceding to pass all but Rod m a n and Bell. O n the back stre tch Bell got dialed, b lasting around Rod man to capture the win . Rodma n was aga in the leader of the pack in the second moto with Gillm a n , Bell , Tamietti, Randy Blevins (Mai). Ma rino , a nd Bru ce Ba ron (Ya m) in hot pu rsuit. Rodman was able to hold th e lead for three laps until Gi llman went by for the moto win. Bell and Ta m ietti were u nab le to ma ke it around the W FO Yam aha rid er. T he overa ll win went to Bell wit h t he most co nsistent finis hes , Gi ll man an d Tamiett i were second and third. Rob ert Elliott (Suz) was off th e line and going before anyone else in the 250 Pro race. Ellio tt never had his incredible lead threatened by a ny of the ot he r 28 riders . T am iett i (Mai) a nd FMF supersta r Ron T u rner got CMC double winner Mike Bell in a .fi ne display of m ot a-gymnastics. the next slots. Mike Bell was riding fourth and Tim Lunde fifth. The tra ffic was very hea vy in t he tig ht turns and a goodly num ber of riders went d own , a mo ng them T im Ma rsh (Suz) and J ohn Sm ith (Ya m).
