CR will see production in
19n and will be available in
January. The forks are
Husky leading axle models
with 240mm of travel. Brad
uses springs and Kent
Howerton uses springs and
air. The rear suspension is
comprised of (below) Fox
dual
rate
air
shocks,
aluminum swingarm and a
5.00 X 17" Trelleborg rear
tire
with
260mm
of
suspension. The shocks and
17" tire will not be on the
production
bikes .
The
exhaust
pipe
is
the
production through ·theframe model that will end
burned leathers and crispy
thighs.
Carburetion is achieved
through a 38mm Mikuni, but
don 't expect that on your
showroom model either.
Fenders are Hallman and the
weight is 220 Ibs.
The Kawasaki upper triple
clamps are magnesium,
. while the · lower ones are
aluminum. Forks use ·air and
prings with 230mm of
ravel.
This bike Is not designated for production in the immediate future, but is claimed to
be the fastest bike on the circuit. Gary Semlcs has used his Kawasaki KX400 to
holeshoot more motos than any other brand.
400cc aluminum engine with
magnesium side covers and
reed valves accounts for
Kawasaki's power. Weight
is 212 Ibs .
