Honda's lightweight MR-250is winning more
races and friends around the country.
The latest race win was the Texas lao-mile
National Enduro. Don Sanford and his MR came in
first out of a field of 593 by dropping only one Point.
The l02-mile course of sand and oil wells took
approximately five hours to run. .
The entire course is run on one man's ranch
(that's Texas for you!) and that's where the Honda
MR made another friend. Sanford led the pack over
a shallow oil pocket and actually' struck oil by wearing away the top soil.
Now Honda can't promise you 'll strike oil
riding an MR-250, but with some good riding you're
bound to strike a little gold. Don Sanford currently
ranks #3 in National Enduro standings on his slightly
modified MR. He swears by the dependability,
quickthrottle response, super-light handling ~~
and agility.
