At the end of the race, the winners were Glover, Marty Tripes and Mike Bell. . Val Tamietti [Mai ], Luke Messer (Mai ) and Greg Robertson (Ossa) dominated both motos of the 5 00 Pro class. • Results in Results Section. Pits and course were located in the same vicin ity as the Dustmakers Hare Scrambles o n Sunday, which led to a strange mixture of desert racers and enduro riders in the area. Th e desert racers were fascinated by all the timekeeping paraphernalia of the enduro riders and the enduro riders were somewhat awe d by the high speeds attained by' the racers on Sunday. Four riders per minute left on their journey into darkness (it wasn 't quite that foreboding) at 9 :01 p.m. Saturday night. Beams of lights from each bike . knifed through the moonlit nigh t illuminating their way. Some riders showed up with rather elaborate lighting with quartz bulbs and sealbearns the ho t setup. Others opted for stock 25 watt !igh ts which seemed p re tty d im to the more exotic co mpared equi pment. After the so mewhat slow speeds o f the night port ion of t he Green horn , Pasadena M/ G promised a fas ter cou rse this time ar o u nd. It was fas te r but no t overly ch alle nging for th e A riders.
