Boody kept it clean this time, however, and scooted under Randy Scott to pick up third place ju st behind Skiver. ' There was lots of crash-bang stuff on the tiny track and at least one third of the races had to be restarted due to ge t-o ffs • One Expert heat had to be Jorgensen, and Mark Leggarra all did endos down the front straightaway in formation, fortunately with only bruises and busted bikes. The 25 lap feature came to a red-flagged halt when Steve Eason, Ch arlie Brown, Rick Ho cking, and Ed Herrmann formed a roadblock in the .corner , Don Dodge threw it away on the . warmup lap ; just for practice v and then, on lap five or so, Herrmann went down again . Ho cking got squee zed into the dirt clods o n the inside and tipp ed o ve r. While the Ho ck's m echanic Was being hassled by th e com er marshall about whether or not he cou ld give Rick a . push, Rick just bumped the 5aO - Yamaha off himself and wheelied away. Ted Davidson missed the Junior .T ro p hy Dash (won by Ricky Graham) , but took his he at ra ce an d . the Junior Fin al points and m oncy with no trouble a t all . Rick Waters, another heat winner, cir cu lat ed around in front of a Graham/Lars Trulson battle that eventually went to Graham, with Trulson picking up the fourth place . cash. Don Farber finished fifth . Regional Novice points leader Danny Hogue kept the pace up as he worked past local riders Dave Churchill and Jeff Fischer to take the Novice Main. Hogue, Fischer, Churchill, Kent Goar, Ken Celori, Dave Mazour, and Terry Weigand won the heat races fo r the 360s.
