Last chance to enter Biker·Centennial Freedom Ride Chuck Clayton plans to celebrate the nation's Double-C birthday by substituting enthusiasm for the cynicism he sees affecting people's minds. The publisher of Biker newsmagazine, Clayton plans to journey coast-to-coast-to-coast on a red 750 Automatic, fitted with a . fairing, CB radio and camping gear. Clayton wants fellow .bikers who "share the spirit of '76" to join along on this motorcycle pilgrimage to some modem and historical sites. We won't get another chance like this for 200 years. " .Setting out from Long Beach, California approximately June 8, the Freedom Riders will tour the Kawasaki assembly plant at Lincoln, Nebraska on Friday, June 11. On Monday the 14th they will visit the American Motorcycle Association headquarters in Westerville, Ohio and on Wednesday the 16th attend a picnic and plant tour at the Harley-Davidson factory in York, P A. Highway Hotel prior to passing out finisher pins at the nearby Loudon (Laconia) AMA National Road Races on Saturday and Sunday , June 19 and 20 .
