But I must say it was a ridi culo us write up an d the author must no t be very knowledgeable in the field of m otocross. T o say that America is be st, just because we have th e most, is wrong. R,D. an d " the rest of the grand old men from Europe" would blow the SaCal locals away for however many wee ks they were here. Brad Lackey is a very fine rider, and America's best Open class rider, but I don't see a One on his number plate. Plus , 10 state that one sin gle race (U.S.G.P.) will prove who is best, is completely outrageous. I knew exactly where my Bultaco was and when t he banner went down , I ran straight for it . . . onl y to find that it had swapped places with a Montesa.
