Brad y an ked the plug wire, until the big
end went.
By the end o f th e first lap, Adolf had
worked his way past Gerrit in to first. He
did not get awa y , as Gerrit remained
very smooth and very tight on him.
DeCoster was back about eighth on the
first lap . Within 12 minutes, he had
somehow worked his way up .t o third,
but there was a big gap between the first
two riders (Weil and Wolsink) and
