and a rider walkout that nearly
cost him the world title. In 1974,
it was a flat "tire and a cracked

cylinder head. DeCoster shook it all off
this year with a 2- I overall victory - the
same score that won him the Italian GP
last week. Brad Lackey had ridden to an
impressive second overall behind Roger
last week but, in Austria, Sittendorf
