His letter, although the only one, must represent an awful lot of opinions because ' I heard numerous negative comments on the cover all week. Including one much respected and known race promoter's feelings that it was negative public relations. And we cannot afford to ' be humorous at the expense of our image. It is Me No . 130 and is supplied prefluxed or is used bare with' Me No. 430 flux. Paul says it's:1l.. high -nickel, high-siluer rod with uniqit-l two-temperature properties. In . iJil 1700-1750 degree range, it behaves like an ordinary brazIng rod. Above 1750. it flows and behaves like a silver solder. The claimed tensile strength is up tlr, 130,000 psi. On the project bike, the brake pedal made with this rod has bee .. bent and rebent several times (it fouls the stock kickstarter} without failur i, Paul also thinks Eutectic Co. makes a sim ilar rod called Eutectic N o: 16 ...
