T he 250 Expert class winners were Bruce Ogilvie, Bren t Wallingsford and Larry Roeseler, Bren t and Larry ca me thro ugh the finish in fo rth an d fifth overal l with Brent staying j ust a fe w turns ahead of Roeseler. . "C" class rider Don Green was trailing Bill Fr ian t by thirtee n positions when he carne through for the first pit. By the seco nd pit stop, Don managed to pass seven more riders fo close the gap between Bill and himself. Finally Green passed Friant to pl ace first 175 Expert , with Bill righ t o n his tail. Brian Wright took the overall in the Amateur class, with Crai g Kinndman and Ron McCamash following clo se be hind. Brian was th e - eighth r ider through the fin ish with Crai g taking nin th . The Senior Division drew a large number of fast riders with Knapp being the qu ickest of them all. George Walker followed fifteen p laces behind Knapp to place second Sen ior Expert, and Dick Camp managed a th ird. . T ru d y Beck came across th e finish line 10 1 overall. To give a genera l idea of the speeds traveled this weekend, Mitch Mayes covered th e first two th irty mile loo p s in just less than one ho ur.
