Denton slipped into th e top spot and T aylor was a disappointed second after the first round. Denton produced a holeshot in th e secon d go and T aylor tried hard to close the gap. T aylor took the lead and Gary settled for second, bu t first ove ra ll , with Eddie Clark third.
