The only re as ons Ms. Lee opposition to banning gave in mult i-cylin der bikes was that attendance would be up and Harle y-Davidson longer dominate the would no co m petition. The gen tle man who supp orted the ban ou tlined his reaso ns in specifics such as; co st, availability, an d most important safety. Ms. Lee did no t co m ment o n any of t hese points. Let's see an oppo sit ion by so meone more qualified, like ErV Kan emoto , There have been so me letter s publis hed recently saying th at Cycl e News West is n ot giving th e central reade rs an d ri der s a fair sha ke. One of yo ur reasons is that there are no t very m an y articles sen t in to be p ublished. In listening to p eo p le ta lk about t he cha nge , and since I do send in t he hillclimbing results people do talk to me, one of the b iggest co mp lain ts I have heard is ab o ut the size of th e pic t ures . One of the bi ggest at trac t ions of Cycle News has always been the quality and quanity o f th e photos. When you make the pi ctures so sm all th at even the r iders can no t re cognize th emselves it makes th e person taking the .pictures and wri ting the art icle s wonder if it is worth the effort. I will kee p on doin g it because I know that things will get better as ti me goes o n but please do thin k about what I said. After all one of the j o ys of winni ng is seei ng yo ur name in print, and hopefull y yo ur fac e , b u t it is hard to convince frie n ds that that is yo u if t he p icture is t iny.
