All riders who plan to comp e te in qualifying events in an effort to gain a spot on the 1976 American T eam for the International Six Days Trial must submit a letter of intent. Letters should state th e rider's intention to ride the Six Days in Austria and should include his curren t address and telephone number. Letters should be sent to : Al Eames, Competition Development Manager, AMA, P.O. Box 141 , Westerville , Ohio 43081. Deadline for filin g a letter of . intent is February 27th. In order to be considered for th e U.S. ISDT Team, a rider must submit a letter of intent and register scores in three qualifying events. Riders do not have to file a letter of intent in order to ride any or all of the qualifiers, but must do so if they wish to be co nsidered for the ISDT team. Brad Lackey's name is one wh ich prompts thoughts of motocross, but the inte rnat ional MX star recently said he wanted to broaden his horizons by racing in the Houston TT.
