Th e odometer is rese t ta bl e fo rwards

necessary feature for en d uros. Enduro
lighting ide n tical to that on th e MR- I 75
is used: an abbreviated tailli ght along
with a very n ice headl igh t . Wirin g
circ uits are primitive. If o ne light burns
out th e o th er one will too , if yo u don't
turn it off. If y o u plan o n ri ding t his
bike at night, carry ex tra bulbs for both
th e tailli gh t an d head ligh t.
The air bo x do es its job extremely
wel l. Afte r five days in Mex ico I pulled
the right side pan el and wen t to clean
th e filter. To my amazement, it was n't
even dirt y! Air is inducted through a
rearw ard facin g sco op loca ted under the
seat. Two 8mm bolts ge t t he sea t o ff.
While we didn't ge t to run the bike
thro ugh an y deep wat er crossings, we
did ru n it through some sh allo w streams
an d no water took th e pl ace o f air in th e
co mbustio n p rocess.

The rcar allowed the bike to slide nice,
sometim es

expec ting it. Some six ply tires would
help protec t th e fragile ri ms in the
roc ks. A serio us enduro ri der will
rep lace the tires immedi ately. Othe rwise

After all was said and done , the
