Even after severaIlaps he was no fu rther ahead than before but something clicked an d he started to make his move, picking riders off one by o ne. With two laps remaining, Johnson held the lead, Loramira (Suz) was second and Mann had made his way up to third. On the bac .. side of the track Mann moved into second and Johnson was left holding the lead by a hair on the white flag lap. As they charged down the double hill , Mann took the lead and the checkered, leaving Johnson and Loramira with second and third. Phil Crane (Hon) led both motos of the 250 Expert class from start to finish. Chris Grewer had two bad star ts , but put on a spectacular sh ow to cop second in both motes, Phi l Douglas (Hus) has moved up to Intermediate after taking a few easy wins in the 250 Novice class. The change of classes didn't seem to make much differe nce, because he walked away with the win again in bo t h motos. • Results in Results Section. Koistinen, in his ri de up through the pack to secon d , stuck a wheel under one Novice rider causing him to fall. The unidentified ri der was really upset. So, while Dave was accepting his trophy, the guy walked up and proceeded to p unch him out. Talk about uncool moves! After the fight, things took a turn fo r the wo rse and everybody seemed to loose their cool. The 250 Expert main was relatively safe and sane. Dallas Turner smoked th e riders in his hea t and was not about to stop in th e main. Dallas shoved his bike in fr ont of Yamaha mounted St eve Dietz to inherit the lead which he never relinquished.
