Mark Rodman (Kaw] passed Haag for second while Bruce Baron and teammate Scott Gilman pulled into fo urth and fifth. In th e second moto Troymar got off to another grea t start . His on ly pro blem was that Bar o n did too. Two lap s la ter Baron too k over an d led to the finish . Troymar had little to worry abo u t as long as he held on to sec o nd, Meanwhile in third, Gilman had his hands full holding off a hard charge from Haag. Steve Gerber (Ya m) took the lead at the start of th e first 125 Expert m ot o , but David Pessy (Ho n) took charge on the first lap, leaving Dennis Hazlett (D&G) and Steve Sparkes (Yam) battling for second, Way ba ck in eighth Steve Gerber was WFO trying to pull up wi th the leaders. Gerber had moved into second o n t he last lap after passing Haz lett's troubled Honda. Hazlett led f or the first eight laps of moto two until again, his bike started running sour and Pessy regained the lead. Hazlett held on long enough to finish third for second overall, There was no challenge to Pessy way o u t in front.
