Powers, not wanting to take home th ird, go t by Snell at the finish. It was a two man duel between Ascot regulars Doug Garrison (Yam) and Frank Adamo (Yam) when the Open Experts took to the track. Garrison , with a good start, grabbed the lead with Adamo slipping through the holes in the traffic to take second goi ng into the first tum. Adamo was applying the steam to Garri son the rest of lap one . an d on the second (and last) lap , Adamo took Garrison in the sec on d right hander and outran him in a drag race to the finish . • Results in Results Section , Family night at Sonoma' SONOMA CNT Y., CAL. , J UNE 14 It was family night as the North Bay 'Mo torcycle Club hosted its third short trac k of the seaso n at the Chris Beck Arena. San ta Rosa's Skov family ended the evening with fat her Carroll Skov m oving up to take second in the 250 Expert Main after Tim Skov (son) rode to a win in the 250 Novice class and youngest son Todd took the win in 100 Novice. Not to be left out, Petaluma's Larry Drew captured the 250 Expert Main and brother Dennis Drew moved up to second in the 360 Expert Main behind Guerneville's Ed Hausmann. The Carter brothers from Windsor made their presence felt with John Carter winning th e 200 No vice Main, Ross Carter placing seco nd in the 100 Novice Main and brother Jace taking third in the 250 Expert Main. Emerging as point leaders are Larry Drew, Expert ; Mik e Tripp, Junior ; and TIm Skov, Nov ice. .' The next race at this tr ack will be on Saturday evening August 2nd.
