Todd Snyder (C·A) got by Rick Wei dman and his new Ho nda o n lap seven of th e 250 Pro class to ge t over th e finish first in m o to one. Seco nd ti me out Snyder ro de all the laps out in fr ont. Weidman fell o n lap fo ur and lost his second posit ion. By flag ti me Weid man had wo rked up to third for a second ove rall . Open Pros Dave Bunker (Hus) and Mike Wood (Bu l) split a co uple for o ne and tw o positions. Wo od won th e tie breaker sec o n d moto for t he overall. Th e 125 C class was p acked with 20 riders - p len ty en ough to hit the first tu m at the sam e t ime. Congratulati ons to Do rian Beach (Suz ) fo r his fir st overa ll win ever. 250 B and 25 0 C co mb ined race shot off at o nce - all 2 I riders . " Lucky 13 Hard Luck" co mme n ts go to Don West (Bul) in th e 250 B class. West is leading his class in series poin ts and eve n p icked up another 4 00 - the hard way. Moto on e - West fo ug ht o ut most of the race with transmission trouble b ut still came up with a fifth. In moto two th e rear ti re air decided to evacuate and left West an d his Bultaco in sad shape fo r the last three laps .
