The Wednesday night sh ow was good, but never drew the cro wds th at this openin g night program did. A near turnaway cro wd saw Bo b Schwartz win the Ha ndicap Main , making his th ird straight win in as many nights. Tremendous pressure by Bru ce Penhall , Larry Shaw and J eff Sexton , made it th e best ra ce of th e ni ght. Rod Sex to n , th e younger brother of Je ff Sex t o n , won th e Division Two Main for h is first main event win in Speedway an d we ma y be seei ng the sta rt of ye t ano the r " bro t her " team that will go all th e way to the top. St eve Bast, the n ew . U.S. Ch amp, won the Sc ra tc h Main ove r St eve Nu tter, Jeff Sex ton. and Bruce Penhall.
